Since more racers are using accessories that require a 12-volt source, we have developed a battery pack that can endure the toughest conditions while supplying the required current and voltage. The Pro Mag Battery Pack is a 14.4-volt, 3-amp per hour, while it is not designed to power CD ignitions it is capable of powering 12 volt ignition accessories. Designed with 12 Nickel Metal Hydride cells that have three times the energy density of NiCad style battery packs. This battery should not be used with an alternator and should be switched off when not in use. To recharge and maintain the Pro Mag Battery pack only use PN 8161 Smart Charger.

Smart Charger PN 8161

The Smart Charger is specifically designed for the Pro mag Battery Pack. It plugs into a 110 outlet and will charge the battery to full power in 3.5 hrs or less. Once the battery is fully charged the Smart Charger will automatically switch to a trickle charge. There is an LED on the side of the charger that indicates the status of the battery while charging and when the charge is complete.
