NHRA Contingency Awards Program 2006

El Paso, Texas- MSD Ignition will post over $200,000.00 as an NHRA major sponsor for the 2006 season.  MSD contingency funds will be available to each NHRA National Event winner and runner-up using an MSD Ignition Control and / or Pro Mage System* or Systems* and MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wires. 

Winners in Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock will be eligible for $500.00 for each product (MSD Ignition and or a Pro Mag System* or Systems* and MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wires).  Winners in Federal Mogul Dragster, Federal Mogul Funny Car, Competition, Super Gas, Super Comp, Super Stock, Super Street, and Stock are eligible for $300.00 for each product (MSD Ignition and / or Pro Mag System* or System* and MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wires).  Winner in Pro Stock Motorcycle are also eligible for $250.00. All runner-ups in all classes are eligible for $100.00.

To be eligible for the share of the MSD contingency money, competitors must use an MSD Ignition and / or a MSD Pro Mag system* or Systems* and or MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wire decals.  Competitors must display the proper MSD Contingency Decals (MSD Ignition, MSD Pro Mag* and or MSD Super Conductor) or painted-on logos. Paint-on logos must be exact duplicates of MSD Contingency Decals (in size 4” x 9”, colors and lettering style) to be eligible for contingency money.  Logo samples are available from MSD upon request.  MSD Decals or paint-on logos must be displayed on both sides of the race car through the entire event (STACKING DECALS IS PROHIBITED).
